We just worked at Hands On kids Museum. (Fun stuff)  A kids museum is designed for kids, Virtually hazard free except for…

…Glass! In the event of a natural disaster – Earthquake, tornado, Etc. Glass is not designed to withstand seismic activity or high speed winds that fling large debris (remember that part in Twister when the cow flies right in front of someones car! Yeah glass cant withstand that… Big shock I know) Or the toys chucked across the room by a rambunctious little squirt, which may the issue in a school, day care, or …a kids museum. I have even heard of people walking right into glass. When any of the potential hazards I just mentioned, happen to unprotected glass… Glass… Everywhere! Yes tempered is safer because it breaks in a million little pieces unlike annealed glass that breaks in to fewer large sharp pieces. But if you don’t pick up all the pieces, broken glass is still broken glass! Not something you want kids around.

“Get to the point blog guy”… My point is, (impatient) protect the glass with Safety Film. What it does is keeps all the glass together in the event of breaking. So instead of pieces of glass flying everywhere, the film hold all the glass together providing safety for those around. This stuff has many names – Bomb blast mitigation film, Anti Intrusion film, Glass retention Film, Security film and YES Safety film! The bottom line is safety. It also meets ANSI97 regulations.
